Why We Are Ending Support for 32-bit Operating Systems
32-bit systems come with significant limitations:
• Memory limitations — a maximum of ~3.2 GB of RAM is available, which is insufficient for processing high-resolution video streams and operating multiple cameras.
• Modern AI and neural network libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, CUDA, and cuDNN are not supported on 32-bit platforms.
• Maintaining compatibility with outdated systems hinders development and reduces stability when working with modern hardware.
Why Switch to 64-bit?
Migrating to 64-bit architecture brings a number of critical advantages:
